2017年、ディマシュは中国のコンテスト番組「歌手2017」に出て「SOS」を歌いました。
「ＳＯＳ-d ‘un terrien en detrésse」（苦悩の地球人のＳＯＳ）
この歌わずか1曲で、ディマシュは中国13億人のハートをつかんでしまったのです。
それから、中国で人気スターとして大活躍。数々のテレビ番組やコンサートに出ました。
そしてこの活動が、アメリカのCBSテレビのワールドベストへ出演して世界中に認められることにつながったのです。
私はこのころのディマシュの活動は、リアルタイムには知りません。
2019年1月に、たまたま見ていた THE VOICE という YouTube 番組でディマシュが出ているのを見て(聞いて）一瞬で心を奪われました。
2017年、中国に進出した時の最初の曲「SOS」が、ディマシュの公式YouTube に最近アップされました。
アメリカのCBSのworilsbest は、時間の関係だと思うけど、曲がアレンジされていて短くて、ディマシュの歌声が十分の生かされていない感じでした。
